FatFace in Chelsea supports Thames21 during Black Friday week

The Kings Road, Chelsea, branch of FatFace has chosen Thames21 as its charity for its Just for Giving week, which starts today.

The clothing and accessories retailer devised the scheme in 2015 as an alternative to the Black Friday phenomenon. Instead of discounting goods in a flash sale, FatFace set up a foundation to give 10% of its profits to charities.

Each of its 221 branches chooses a charity and Harry Humphries, store manager of the Chelsea branch, chose Thames21. He was inspired by our work and wanted a waterways connection, particularly as his shop has a kayak stuck to the ceiling.

Purchases made in store will mean profit donations can be nominated to Thames21 – and shopping online also gives you the option of nominating us, in preference to the FatFace Foundation. The full story is in our media release section.
