Thames River Watch – The Big Count 2015 – Bexley

19th February 2015 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Get stuck in with Thames21 on the foreshore of the Thames as we celebrate our first ever annual Big Count event!

From Thursday 19th to Monday 23rd February, a series of events across London will shine a spotlight on the health of the tidal ThamesĀ and raise awareness of the Thames River Watch project.

Join in with collecting and counting litter at one of four Thames foreshore events. Find out more about what volunteers have been testing for in 2014 and what we’ve learnt. Find out how you can make a difference in 2015.

Families are welcome and there will be plenty for children to do and see. No need to bring anything, all equipment is provided. You can just turn up on the day, or contact Michael Heath (michael.heath@thames21.org.uk) for more information.

All data gathered at these events will contribute to Thames River Watch. A three-year citizen science project run by Thames21.
