Get involved with Thames21 and help clean up the Thames foreshore in preparation for The Diamond Jubilee Pageant!
Explore the South Bank foreshore at low tide, take part in family-friendly activities and learn about the history and wildlife of the Thames.
There will be activities for all ages, including river dipping, a ‘weird litter’ table, an archaeologist on hand to help identify interesting finds, river wildlife experts, a story teller, and a few more surprises.
We will be clearing and enjoying the foreshore between Shakespeare’s Globe and the London Eye.
We will provide all the necessary equipment. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
There are limited spaces for this event, so please contact Ben Fenton to register in advance.
This event is part of our Big Waterways Clean Up 2012 project.
