NEW! Outfall monitoring training

10th January 2015 @ 10:00 am - 12:30 pm

Free

Thames21 are about to launch a brand new community outfall monitoring programme!  At the same time,  we’re looking to spread the success of our citizen science water quality testing further into the Salmons Brook catchment.  Starting in the new year, these projects will enable valuable evidence to be gathered about the type and frequency of pollution entering the Salmons Brook and the streams which feed it.

The training session, to be held on Saturday 10th January, will include full training in both outfall monitoring and citizen science water quality testing.  This project will run until July 2015, during which time you can get involved by completing quick and easy outfall surveys or carrying out simple water quality tests, in and around the Salmons Brook.
Please contact Francesca francesca.campagnoli@thames21.org.uk for more information or to sign up for the event.  No previous experience in water quality monitoring is required.
