River Fly Monitoring, River Crane, Cranford Park, Hayes, Hillingdon

Join Thames21 and find out the value of invertebrates in monitoring the quality of the water running through Cranford Park.

Key aims will be:

Helping individuals of all ages to identify invertebrates.

Improve peoples understanding of why invertebrates are good bioindicators and what bioindicators are.

Explaining what pressures the River Crane is under and what is being done to help relieve them.

What is the Water Framework Directive and how is it going to effect the River Crane.

All Equipment is provided by Thames 21 but please wear suitable clothing for the weather conditions and remember to bring a bottle of water with you. Under 16′s are more than welcome as long as they have a responsible adult accompanying them. Meeting location is at the information centre.
