28th February 2015 @ 11:00 am - 1:30 pm

Join Thames21 for an event suitable for all of the family, Tall Tales & Trash! Banish the winter blues by joining a community litter-pick combined with tales from the park’s 1000-year history and about its wildlife. Bob Barton, Secretary of the Cranford Park Friends Group will be telling tales of the expansive park history about the Barclays house, those who resided in it going back to the middle ages where the knights templars formed a base at the park. The wildlife will not be left out, Thames21 will discuss the waterways, current pressures on them and some information about how to identify a tree in winter.

All Equipment is provided by Thames 21 but please wear suitable clothing for the weather conditions and remember to bring a bottle of water with you. Under 16′s are more than welcome as long as they have a responsible adult accompanying them. Meeting location is at the information centre.

Looking forward to seeing you there!

Best regards,

Billy
