Training Course: Vegetation Management in Your River Catchment

March 2 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

| Free

Thames21 has done a lot of work adding vegetated enhancements such as floating reedbeds and SuDS systems to London’s waterways.  Like any new enhancement to the environment, these need monitoring and care!  This course teaches volunteers about various vegetated enhancements in waterway catchment systems, including how each type of enhancement functions and what benefits each provides.  The course will also teach volunteers how to organise and carry out practical vegetation monitoring and management works with others in their area.

This course is open to all but will focus on work being done in the Lower Lea Catchment.

Please note that in order to sign on to this course, participants must have already attended our 2-day Leading a Waterway Cleanup course.   Click here to find out more about Leading a Waterway Cleanup.
