Sunday 6 July

London Festival of Architecture

In 15 minutes create a unique artwork which makes a distinctive present or keepsake. We'll be working with volunteers to remove rubbish, plant wildflowers and install art, will run a tent inviting visitors to create their own mini-sculpture, inspired by the architecture and environment of the Regent’s Canal, with professional artist Kevin Herlilhy. National Archaeology Weekend Shore Explore

Join staff from Thames21 on the foreshore in front of the Tower of London for an event to explore Tower Beach and look for historic finds. All equipment provided.

The Great River Race

Once again, we are looking for crews to compete in the Great River Race on behalf of Thames21. This race is Europe's most prestigious traditional boat race aka London's 'other' marathon. It's huge fun and many companies including Legal and General Plc, Unilever and the Savoy, A Fairmont Hotel have taken part for Thames21. THE MAYOR'S THAMES FESTIVAL

Join Thames21 and a host of environmental organisations in the Blue Ribbon Village at Potter Field. Bring the family and find out more about Thames21's work on London's waterways, the environment and conservation. Last year's Blue Ribbon Village included a life sized story telling whale, arty deckchairs, a village pond, a solar powered music stage, fantastic organic food, and much more! World Rivers Day

An international event set up to create more awareness of the world's river resources, and the need to protect them. Take part in this celebration of the worlds waterways.
