Hyde Park Concerts

Come and say hello to us at the various concerts taking place in Hyde Park this June and July. Thames21 will be offering a chance for concert attendees to learn more about the work we do, and the chance to win some prizes! Artists performing include Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young, Basement Jaxx, Kanye West and Blur.

Cray River Clean

Come along and join Thames21 to clean-up the River Cray. Adults and children are welcome, all you need is lots of enthusiasm and willingness to get muddy. We will provide safety boots, waders, gloves and socks. Parental supervision is required.

TIME: meet at 10am
LOCATION: Waterside Gardens, Crayford Town Centre, Bexley, DA1.

Come along and join Thames21 to clean-up the River Cray. Adults and children are welcome, all you need is lots of enthusiasm and willingness to get muddy. We will provide safety boots, waders, gloves and socks. Parental supervision is required.

TIME: meet at 11am
LOCATION: A206 Thames Road Bridge, over the River Cray, Bexley, DA1.

Crabtree Wharf Clean-up

Bexley Volunteering Open Days

Come along and see some of our award-winning Riverkeeper Volunteers in action, and find out what opportunities there are for you to get involved. No experience necessary, and all equipment will be provided. Activities will include boat trips, fishing, habitat enhancement projects and learning more about the local ecology on the River Cray. Sessions will be running throughout each day.

National Archaeology Weekend

Open access to the Tower of London foreshore both days of this weekend as part of the National Archaeology Weekend. This event is always a popular one for all members of the family. Get your finds identified and examined by qualified archaeologists free of charge. Sturdy footwear is recommended, a plastic bag and wet wipes may also come in handy!

Foreshore Fun Day

Join Thames21 as we reclaim the foreshore for a whole host of fun and games suitable for all the family. As the tide goes out, expect knotted hankies and deck chairs galore as we offer up a series of traditional (and not so traditional!) beach games on the sandy shore. This is not one to be missed!
