Marriott Managers Muck In on River Thames

Marriott Hotel General Managers joined forces with environmental charity Thames21 to clear litter from the River Thames as part of the Marriott International's Environmental Awareness Month.

The clean up took place on the Thames foreshore at County Hall on Thursday 19 April.

The valiant volunteers cleared over one tonne of river rubbish and finds included a gold engraved wedding band, a Victorian stoneware Batey's Ginger Beer bottle, credit cards, 2 mobile phones, a toy car, a toy guitar, sunglasses, old coins, a crowd control barrier and a wrist watch.
