Thames21 volunteer activities suspended until 1 March: update 4 January

Thames21 is suspending volunteering activity until 1 March in accordance with the latest government guidance.

We are monitoring public health information and we will run outdoor volunteering events again as soon as it is safe to do so. Please check back on this page, sign up to our e-newsletter and our social media channels for the latest updates.

Our events have undoubted benefits in terms of physical and mental wellbeing, and we’re sad we need to suspend them. But the safety of our staff and volunteers always comes first.

We’ll offer selected events and trainings online, and we’ll continue sharing river-related activities and resources via Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

We really look forward to meeting you on the riverbank once it’s safe to do so again.

If your allotted exercise allows you to safely visit your local river, do share your photos by tagging @Thames21.
