Badged Group Event: Stonebridge Lock Coalition – River Restoration and Pollution Removal

Dip your toe in!
Join Stonebridge Lock Coalition and Lee Valley Regional Park in exploring the wondrous wilds of the River Lea Diversion. They will be continuing their river restoration work to remove plastic pollution and fly-tipping, and improve the flow of the river to create better quality habitat for our local wildlife.
Sunday 19th January, 11am -2pm.
RSVP with your boot size is essential so that they can allocate you a pair of chest waders – whether you plan to wade in the channel or work bankside (it’ll be gloriously muddy).

Meet Sandpiper Bridge, Wild Marsh East (Higham Hill Ward), Tottenham Marshes. A map will be provided when you RSVP.
Dress for the weather – warm layers are best and bring an extra pair of thick socks.
All protective clothing and equipment will be provided.
You are welcome to stay for vegan refreshments and chats at the end.
