Brook Farm Open Space, Barnet. Toeboard Removal

10th October 2018 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Free

Join Thames21 and help increase biodiversity of your local river by removing toeboards. These toeboards are being removed to increase biodiversity. Currently, the boards in place are stopping the river water connecting with the banks which form the river channel. Removing the toeboards will increase the area of good habitat available for invertebrates and fish which reside in your local river.

Meeting location is at the southern entrance of Brook Farm Open Space. Look out for the Thames21 branded van. All welcome and no experience required. All equipment will be provided but please could volunteers under the age of 16 be accompanied by a responsible adult.

****Please give me an email or phone call using the contact details on this page as spaces are limited on these events.***

Enjoy your waterways,

Billy
