Thames21 are working to restore Chiswick Eyot.
Information about the day:
- Volunteer and help us to stabilise the island from further erosion and enhance the island for wildlife
- Tasks include repairing the banks using willow spiling techniques, marginal planting, scrub removal, tree pruning, litter clearance and invasive plant removal
- All welcome, all equipment provided, just wear old clothes and bring lots of enthusiasm.
