Enfield Chase Tree Care

April 28 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Trees for Rivers

Join us as part of Enfield Council’s Restoration of Enfield Chase project to help create one of London’s newest woodlands.

Over the winter we planted 50,000 trees, and now we need to provide after-care to ensure the best survival rate. For this event we will be looking at the deer fencing around the Rectory farm fields and closing up any holes where animals can push under.

This event starts at 10am and we aim to wrap up by 3pm

The meeting point for this day will be by Rectory Farm, at the gates opening into the newly planted field – if you follow the track that leads off from Ridgeway opposite the Royal Chace Hotel, then at the bottom by the farm buildings there’s a portaloo and a gate opposite leading into the planted field (https://goo.gl/maps/VydeHuLCP3jW12Sf9). We’ll be meeting by that gate. Parking is just round the corner along the farm buildings (https://goo.gl/maps/yFhQrk77QhS7MtCU9).

Gloves and tools provided but please bring your own lunch and drinking water.

Please dress appropriately for the weather.

There is a maximum number of 15 places so please book using the form below. Each person volunteering must complete the registration form and unfortunately we won’t be able to take any additional people on the day.

We kindly ask all corporate group bookings to contact corporate-volunteering@thames21.org.uk
