Friends of North Thames Estuary Litter Pick

August 22

****IN ORDER TO KEEP EVENTS SAFE AND ENJOYABLE WE ARE LIMITING GROUP SIZE ****

Our events are very popular, so if you’ve booked and can no longer attend, please let us know so that your place can be offered to someone else!

Join the Friends of North Thames Estuary for a litter pick to intercept litter on its way out of the Thames Estuary.

Meet at old St Clements Church, West Thurrock, RM20 4AL (of 4 weddings and a funeral fame) next to Proctor and Gamble.

We will be walking at least 4 miles collecting river rubbish along the Graffiti Wall as we head out to below the QE2 Bridge. If you have your own equipment – sturdy walking shoes, litter picker, bag hoop, gloves – please bring them along. Please dress for the weather conditions and bring along your own hand sanitiser, face mask, drinking water and sun cream. There will be no facilities available to use.

There are 14 spaces available. It is a requirement to pre-book. Please contact Steve Catchpole (litterpickingsteve@outlook.com) if you would like to attend or need more information.
