Guided Eel Riverbank Walk (Beckenham Place Park, Lewisham)
July 3 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am
One event on 3rd July 2021 at 10:00 am
Learn more about the River Ravensbourne on a guided riverbank walk! With a particular focus on the critically endangered European Eel, we will walk and talk about healthy rivers, wildlife, and the work we can do to improve the environment.
This event is perfect for people who want to get outdoors and understand more about the beautiful rivers of London.
I will also talk about the Thames Catchment Community Eels Project as a whole, the work we are doing to improve the future of eels and further opportunities to get involved.
Meeting Point: Beckenham Place Park, Lewisham – exact location will be sent after signing up
Got a group who want to do this? Or would like to learn about a specific area? I can arrange bespoke walks for a time that suits you.
