|Recurring Event (See all)

One event on 22nd July 2021 at 10:00 am

Learn more about the River Brent on a guided riverbank walk! With a particular focus on the critically endangered European Eel, we will walk and talk about healthy rivers, wildlife, and the work we can do to improve the environment.

This event is perfect for people who want to get outdoors and understand more about the beautiful rivers of London.

I will also talk about the Thames Catchment Community Eels Project as a whole, the work we are doing to improve the future of eels and further opportunities to get involved.

Meeting Point: Near Brent Reservoir, Brent – exact location will be sent after signing up

Got a group who want to do this? Or would like to learn about a specific area? I can arrange bespoke walks for a time that suits you.

Sign up via Eventbrite or contact Oli on oli.back@thames21.org.uk or 07597 577 793

This project is funded by the government’s Green Recovery Challenge Fund. The fund is being delivered by The National Lottery Heritage Fund in partnership with Natural England and the Environment Agency.
