March 23 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every day that begins at 11:00 am, repeating until 25th March 2023

We need your help to assemble, plant and install floating reedbed habitat on the Lea Navigation.

Book your place here.

The reedbeds will provide important habitat for spawning fish, pollinators, dragonflies and a host of other wildlife, boosting biodiversity on the canal.

Installation will take place over three days: 23, 24 and 25 March. Feel free to come to any or all of these dates!

The activity is suitable for anyone over the age of 16. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

No experience is necessary. All tools and equipment will be provided.

Details of the meeting point will be provided nearer the time.

This is a partnership project between Thames21, Lee Valley Regional Park and Canal and River Trust and is funded by the Mayor of London’s Rewild London Fund.
