London Rivers Week 2022: Boston Manor Bat Walk along the Canal and River
July 13 @ 9:00 pm - 10:15 pm
Join Natural Park Manager, Vanessa Hampton for a fun and fascinating bat walk along the canal and river banks that border the southern end of Boston Manor Park. After a short introductory talk about bats, we’ll use bat detectors to see if we can spot them along the canal and river. We’ll find out what species we have and the kinds of habitats they need to feed and thrive in.
Meet at Boston Manor Park, Car Park, Boston Manor Road, TW8 9JQ Google map: https://goo.gl/maps/XL9b8mDW7GKHJsUT9
The entrance to park closest to the car park is located opposite 85 Boston Manor Road, TW8 9JQ
We will leave the car park at 9.10pm and walk through the park down to the canal by the closed pedestrian bridge where we’ll start our walk and talk at 9.15pm. The walk will finish at 10:15pm. Call Vanessa on 07816067883 if you can’t find us or running late.
