London Rivers Week 2022: Webinar on catchment-wide assessments of plastic pollution – the Mersey and other case studies

July 11 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am

Our rivers, oceans and wildlife are being overwhelmed by plastic waste, and microplastic is entering our food and water. Thames21 works on various projects to help tackle plastic pollution, collects vital data on the issue to influence positive policymaking, the supply chain and communities. Ultimately, we need to stop plastics and other litter and waste from entering our waterways.

Join Thames21 Plastic Free Rivers Project Coordinator Luca Marazzi/Plastic Free Mersey Project Officer Bea Asquith, Thames21 Catchment Partnership Development Manager Will Oliver, Thames21 Thames Volunteer Engagement Officer Felicity Rhodes, and Mersey Rivers Trust Co-Director John Sanders for brief presentations and an open discussion with the audience to find out more in this webinar about ‘catchment-wide assessments of plastic pollution’.

Time: 10.30am -11.30am
