London Rivers Week 2024: Calm Water Café

As part of London Rivers Week 2025, Community Bluescapes is hosting a Calm Water Café, where you can take a moment and come to sit in silence, have a cup of coffee or tea on us, or have a friendly chat next to the Beverley Brook.
The Calm Water Café will be open on Friday 5th June under the willow trees on Barnes Green.
Join Community Bluescapes for:
- Information on local nature reserves and spaces to enjoy
- Outdoor volunteering opportunities
- Information on preventing floods and helping nature in your own home
- Activities to help you connect to the outdoor world
- Look for the gazebo on the green and join us!

You don’t need a ticket to attend, you can just turn up at our event between 12 noon and 3pm, but it helps us gauge numbers if you register on this page. Register here:

Community BlueScapes is a partnership between London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, Barnes Common Limited, and WWT. We are coming together to create healthier neighbourhoods in the Beverley Brook catchment in Richmond and ensure our communities are flood and weather resilient in the near future.
All U18s must be accompanied by an adult.
