London Rivers Week 2025: Balsam Bash, Six Acre Meadow – Hogsmill River

Join our friends at South East Rivers Trust this London Rivers Week 2025 to get stuck in on your local river.
We need your help to manage Himalayan balsam along the Hogsmill river. This invasive plant spreads easily along riverbanks, outcompeting native plants and destabilising the banks.
Hand pulling and cutting is the best way to tackle this problem plant and we will do this from the bank and from in the river channel, wearing waders.
This is a FREE event.
