London Rivers Week 2025: The Brent River Walk
June 1 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm

This special London Rivers Week walk is jointly organised by West London Ramblers, the Brent River and Canal Society and their action group CURB (Clean Up the River Brent). They invite you to explore some of the most attractive stretches of the River Brent and hear about the work done by CURB volunteers to monitor and improve its water quality and protect and enhance the biodiversity of meadow, woodland and wetland habitats along its banks.
This is a FREE event.
The whole walk is about six miles but there are several drop-out points with convenient public transport links for those preferring a shorter walk.
You will be able to have a refreshment break in lovely Brent Lodge Park so bring a picnic or if you prefer, there is a small café selling drinks, ice-creams and snacks.
Date: Sunday 1st June
Time: 11am-3pm
Location: Meet outside Boston Manor underground station (Piccadilly Line) at 11.00
Finishes: The walk ends at Pitshanger Lane from where there are frequent buses to Ealing Broadway (Elizabeth, Central and District Lines).
All U18s must be accompanied by an adult.
