July 16 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm

We will contact you at 5pm on Friday 15th July if we need to cancel the event due to weather or other circumstances.

Come and explore your local foreshore for a fun day of FREE activities for all ages down by the River Thames. This community open day will include activities down on the river foreshore. Come along to find out more information about Thames21 and take part in one of the many activities.

River Dipping: using nets come and explore the animals that live in the river.

Litter Clean Up: using litter pickers help us to collect the litter that collects on the river side.

Litter Detectives: take part in a detailed survey sorting through the types of litter we find and counting the plastic bottles.

Mudlarking: come along to an organised session to dive into London’s history and see what ancient items you can find alongside the river.

Activities and Games: take part in our treasure hunt and our litter pickers game. How many items of litter can you pick up with our litter pickers?

This is a family friendly event open to all general public. Book in advance here, or come along on the day!
