LONDON RIVERS WEEK: Tidal Thames Fish Survey

June 2 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Free

Want to see which species of fish live in the Thames? This is your chance! London Rivers Week

A selection of fish will be captured to demonstrate the many species that can be found in the Thames. The Environment Agency will have a stand where you can observe the fish up close and ask any questions you may have. This is a great opportunity to learn about the Environment Agency’s surveying process!

They will also carry out ‘kick samples’, which will show the variety of small critters we have lurking in the shallows of the Thames’ banks!

The event will run from 10am until 1pm. Please meet on the small beach area in front of the Slug and Lettuce on Buccleuch Passage (postcode for the Slug and Lettuce is TW9 1TJ).

If you’re driving, the best place to park is Friars Lane, Richmond, TW9 1NL, in the pay and display car park. Please ensure you have enough time on your ticket, as checks are carried out regularly.
