London Rivers Week: Wetland based taster session

October 26 @ 11:00 am - 2:00 pm

London Rivers Week

Join London Wildlife Trust during London Rivers Week for a pond and canal edge management activity session from 11am on Tuesday October 26th.

Camley Street Natural Park will re-open on Wednesday 13th October 2021! It is a unique urban nature reserve, surrounded by significant new development in a bustling part of central London – between King’s Cross and St Pancras.

The woodland, grassland and wetland habitats including ponds, reedbed and marshy areas, provide a rich habitat for birds, butterflies, amphibians and plant life, while the new Visitor Centre will cater for the thousands who visit annually.

This is your chance to become involved in looking after the area. There is a  limit of 12 people for this activity. Places should be booked in advance. Please also email klgogol@wildlondon.org.uk  by October 22.

London Rivers Week is a partnership campaign run through London Rivers Restoration Group, a sub-group of the Catchment Partnerships in London. It is sponsored by Thames Water.
