CPRE London is hosting a boating trip in East London as a pre-London Rivers Week 2025 event: https://cpre-london.eventcube.io/events/72626/boat-trip-enjoying-nature-in-east-london/
The boat trip will occur 26th May 2025 from 12.00hrs at The Limehouse Cut. The exact boarding point will be confirmed by email closer to the date.
Presentations will be given on the boat by various groups, providing information on the nature found along the river and also information about the Great Eastern Parks Route, which connects green and blue spaces in east London.
We hope to have a stop at Three Mills to describe the history, and then end at Lea Marshes – if there is time we will also have a short walk on the marshes.
Finish point: Stratford, exact location to be confirmed closer to the date.
There will be a pay bar for drinks. Food will not be available for purchase on this trip.
The event is kindly being run and sponsored by the East London Garden Society – to learn more, get involved, or support their work, please visit: https://www.elgs.org.uk/
