Restoring Enfield’s Rivers Event – Albany Park Tree and Wildflower, Wild Walk 28.09.2021
September 28 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Join us for a walk around Albany Park.
We will be practicing our plant identification skills and generally wildlife spotting as we walk around the park and along the brook.
Through our events at Albany Park our team has been lucky enough to watch the yearly cycle of flowers on the newly constructed wetlands. We will be slowly strolling through the site, using our ID books and guides to try and learn the resident plant species together 🙂 Wildlife highlights seen on the Turkey Brook include kingfisher and grass snakes which we will definitely be keeping an eye out for. Fingers crossed we get some good weather and be able to identify some good plant species! Plants really are the basis for all life on earth and we want to show you how amazing they really are!
If you have a pair of binoculars or an ID guide please bring them along although they are not essential!
Let’s come together as a community. Let’s get outside and into nature!
Please sign up below. Hope to see you there!
