River Beck Improvements – High Broom Wood
March 26 @ 10:30 am - 2:30 pm

Join us for a hands-on project at High Broom Wood this Winter! We’ll be focusing on enhancing the the Beck, working to restore and improve the natural river processes.
Volunteers will help manage vegetation, construct dead hedges, and get up close with the river by putting on waders to build in-channel deflectors and brash berms. These efforts will increase habitat diversity, reduce riverbank erosion, and limit the amount of sediment flowing downstream, benefiting the river’s ecosystem.
Meeting Point:
We’ll meet at South Eden Park Road
