Riverfly Monitoring at Perival Park.

May 12 @ 11:30 am - 12:15 pm

Free

After the very successful full training session at Brent Lodge Park during April, we’re going to have the first official monitoring session at Perivale Park. Join Thames21 as we look at the riverflies which call the River Brent home, and investigate what the riverflies can tell us about the health of the river.

If you have not taken the RiverFly Monitroing Initiative training course in April, please still do come and learn about the river. This is a very family friendly event and all ages are welcome. Under 16’s must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Please do be on time as we have another Thames21 event removing Himalayan Balsam and  litter around the river, so  need to go to the sampling location  very soon after 11:30. If you can’t arrive at 11:30, go to the river behind bus stop ‘RT’, head downstream and look out for the Blue Hi-Viz vests of our Thames21 staff. Bus stop ‘RT’ is marked with grid coordinates on the google map link.

All the best,

Billy
