Thames Day Foreshore Clean-up and Talk
September 22 @ 10:15 am - 12:30 pm
Join a walk, talk and litter pick hosted by Thames21 on the River Thames as part of Thames Day, an exciting day of activity taking place on 22 September as part of Totally Thames Festival. Spend a Sunday outdoors with us having fun, enjoying the fresh air and light exercise by the river.
During the foreshore clean-up, you’ll join a leisurely walk and talk along the Thames foreshore, gaining cultural insights into past and present activity along the River Thames. Pick up some fun facts to tell your family and friends!
You’ll hear about and see first-hand the environmental challenges facing our rivers, and learn how Thames21 works with volunteers to protect our rivers.
It is free and open to all. Under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult and we will need to know boot sizes for children when you register. Joining instructions will be sent to you on registration and you will be fully briefed at the start of the event. Thames21 will provide safety boots and other vital equipment.
Register now, places are limited. Register here: https://book.plinth.org.uk/e/tbVqN2nVv62sdLudIQoo
