Thames Road Wetland Habitat Management

November 14 @ 10:30 am - 2:00 pm

We need volunteers to help with site management and at our urban wetland reserve, Thames Road Wetland! Vegetation management and litter removal work is vital to maintain this special habitat – home to water voles, harvest mice, dragonflies, reptiles, amphibians, birds and notable plants.

All tools and equipment are provided, along with wellies, waders and protective gloves. Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather conditions. Basic refreshments will be provided, and you are welcome to bring a packed lunch. There are no facilities on site so please factor this into your planning! Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Meeting Point: Entrance to Byway 105, Thames Road, Dartford DA1. The nearest station is Crayford, where you can catch the 428 bus to Erith.

Please email clare.smith@thames21.org.uk to register your interest, with your boot size and contact phone number.
