The Mill Brook from Blewbury to Wallingford: have your say
May 21 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Free
We would like to invite you to a consultation event on the Mill Brook River that runs from Blewbury to Wallingford.
We are looking to get a wide range of perspectives to join us to see if we can work more collaboratively in this catchment. This includes needing representation from wildlife, heritage, hydrology, and agriculture, to name just a few. We are also keen to make sure that residents’ views are represented and that everyone feels included.
The event will start with inspiration from other catchment projects, and then we will run a number of short, facilitated activities to support discussion and draw out the important topics in the room.
The event is facilitated by the Catchment Lead, Thames 21, and supported by staff from the Environment Agency.
The event is funded by Mend the Gap – which is a joint programme of the Chilterns and North Wessex Downs National Landscapes and the Railway Action Group (a group of local community members who were instrumental in highlighting the harm being done to the Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and in the campaign to reduce these impacts) and will involve working with landowners, the local community and partner organisations to identify and deliver projects that will collectively enhance the affected areas.
To book your place please book using this link. Please do book early to help us with planning and ordering refreshments.
All our events and activities are open to communities.
