Walk with us at the March for Clean Water protest
November 3 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm
The March for Clean Water protest is in sight. It will take place on Sunday 3rd November and start overlooking the River Thames at Albert Embankment, London.
Thames21 will be supporting the march.
The March for Clean Water is being coordinated by campaign group River Action UK and being backed by other water-loving groups. We are joining this peaceful march to show our support for cleaning up rivers and ending all forms of river pollution. As we stated in our last e-newsletter, we would love to invite our volunteers to march with us to amplify our voices to push all river stakeholders to rescue our waterways.
As this is a march organised by River Action, please note that you will be responsible for your own health and safety and wellbeing. However, we will provide tips and guidance for the day.
We will be wearing our uniform (navy blue and white logo). We will encourage you to wear blue also. The theme is blue for the day. We will also be carrying placards.
We will gather with other river lovers at Albert Embankment on Sunday morning from 11am.This should be a fun, peaceful march with a serious message attached to it. The March will move off at around 11.45am and then proceed to Parliament Square in the afternoon.
Thanks to all of you who have expressed interest in walking with us so far. We appreciate this. There’s still time to join us to demand action for change. The logistics for the day have been planned.
