Harrow Nature Heroes is an award scheme designed to encourage children & adults to have fun exploring nature in parks and open spaces.

Insects have been on our planet for 100’s of millions of years. They have made fantastic adaptions to their environment. Come and discover fascinating facts and begin to learn how to identify them. All the best things in life: being in nature, being creative and learning – great quality time with your family and best of all its free! But be quick, places will go fast. You can join our Harrow Nature Heroes Scheme on the day (its free to join at this Headstone Manor Park event), or if you are a member already dont forget your log book.

Booking essential. Suitable for families with children aged 4 years and over, max 2 children with each adult – see eventbrite link below

(To maintain the safety of the children we need to ensure we have the correct numbers – No unaccompanied children)

Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring a drink/ snack. The event will take place on the playing fields at Headstone Manor Park and there will be some short walks to explore and look for bugs. Some of the walks will be over grassed areas which may be muddy – depending upon the weather conditions. We will have a small shelter and the event will take place come rain or sunshine however in the event of extreme weather you will be notified should we need to postpone the event.
