DESCRIPTION:Join us for our Action for Silk Stream monthly volunteering days. They will be held on the last Thursday of each month. \nPlease book here: Action for Silk Stream – River Action Day – Thames21 Limited \nWe will be working in the newly created stream and installing deflectors. This will help to diversify flow and add new areas of habitat to make the stream more natural\, which in turn increases biodiversity. \nIf you would like to come along and help us\, bring some enthusiasm and energy and we will bring the tea and biscuits! \nNo experience necessary! \nWhere to meet: \nWatling Park \nNearest tube: Burnt Oak\, Northern line \nWhat to Bring: \nDress for the weather and the task – long trousers and sleeves are advisable as there are nettles and brambles. \nPlease bring a packed lunch and plenty of fluids. \nWe will bring tea/coffee and biscuits. \nWe will provide all other equipment (including wellies) needed for the event and we look forward to welcoming you! \nEmail helen.cardy@thames21.org.uk if you have any questions. \nAnyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
