SUMMARY:Action for Silk Stream with Harrow Litter Pickers
DESCRIPTION:Join us on Sunday 23rd November for a joint venture with the Harrow Litter Pickers to clean up the stream and surrounding banks from Methuen Close towards the A5. \nMeeting Point: junction of Methuen Close and Methuen Road\, near to Flash Musicals theatre (HA8 6EZ). \nWe will meet at 10am and the event will end at 1pm but please come along for any amount of time! \nWe will be cutting back vegetation and making the area along the path clean and tidy. \nNo need to book\, just turn up with suitable footwear and if you have gloves please also bring with you. \nAny questions\, please contact Helen.Cardy@Thames21.org.uk

DESCRIPTION:Join us for our Action for Silk Stream monthly volunteering days. They will be held on the last Thursday of each month. \nActivities include litter picking and vegetation management. \nThe event is free but places are limited so please book here: Action for Silk Stream – River Action Day – Thames21 Limited \nWhere to meet: \nThe Meads Open Space\, Edgware\, Barnet \nNearest tube: Burnt Oak \nNearest Overground: Mill Hill Broadway \nWhat to Bring: \nDress for the weather and the task – long trousers and sleeves are advisable as there are nettles and brambles. \nPlease bring a packed lunch and plenty of fluids. \nWe will bring tea/coffee and biscuits. \nWe will provide all other equipment (including wellies) needed for the event and we look forward to welcoming you! \nEmail helen.cardy@thames21.org.uk if you have any questions. \nAnyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
