DESCRIPTION:Join Action for Silk Stream on a free Beginners Botanical Walk as part of London Rivers Week. We will identify wildflowers and plants growing along the banks of the Burnt Oak Brook and the surrounding green spaces of Lyndhurst Park and The Meads Open Space. \nWe’ll introduce the basics of botanical identification\, noticing leaf shapes\, flower structures and other key features that help us recognise common species. A great chance to enjoy nature as the season begins to change! \nWe will start at Simmonds Mead Open Space\, Edgware\, NW7 4JH. This is a small green space\, with a stream running through the middle.
