DESCRIPTION:Enjoy a family crafternoon with South East Rivers Trust at Riverside Gardens for London Rivers Week\, learning more about what lives in the river while doing nature art! \n\n\n\n\nJoin us:\nThe Riverside Gardens wetland has been revitalised through re-profiling to create diverse water depths and reconnecting the wetland with the River Cray. As part of London Rivers Week 2026\, we are hosting a family friendly arts & crafts afternoon to celebrate the river. \nThese are family friendly\, for young people aged 6 years old and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. \nYounger children can attend\, however all activities may not be age appropriate. \nWhat you’ll do: \n\nRiver themed scavenger hunt\nNature art\nRiver sampling\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat you need to know \n🕒 When: Wednesday\, May 27th. 12pm – 3pm \n📍Where to meet: Riverside Gardens\, Gardiner Close\, BR5 4AB – Look out for our South East Rivers Trust flags \n\nGoogle Maps HERE\n\n\nwhat3words ///reason.traps.mining\n\n👉 Booking is essential so we can plan sessions\, please register here.\n⏰ Booking closes at 11:30pm\, May 25th. \nWhat do you need to bring? \n\nWater bottle (filled up!)\n\n\nWarm\, weather appropriate clothing\n\n\nWear comfortable shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting a bit dirty\n\nAccessibility: Activities will take us off-paths and working on the ground. Some areas may be muddy.
