Thank you to everyone who entered our London Rivers Week 2026 photography competition, and to London National Park City for partnering with us to deliver this brilliant initiative.

We were also delighted to be hosted by the Leaside Trust for a wonderful evening celebrating the winners, overlooking the River Lea.

This year’s overarching theme, “Know Your Local River”, encouraged Londoners to explore, understand and connect more deeply with their nearest waterways.

🏆 Congratulations to our overall winner: Karin Tearle

Here are the winners and finalists across all three categories:
WHERE WE MEET THE WATER (COMMUNITY AND CONNECTION)
🏆 Winner: Simon King
WILD BY THE WATER
🏆 Winner: Elizabeth Salazar Guerra
THE RIVER THAMES THROUGH THE SEASONS
🏆 Winner: Karin Tearle

We’d also like to extend our thanks to Fujifilm UK for generously supporting the competition with fantastic prizes, and to Penguin Random House UK providing Robert Macfarlane’s inspiring book “Is a River Alive?”.

Thanks to all the judges.

Finally, a very special thank you to London National Park City’s Michael Schilling for his invaluable help in organising this year’s competition.
