Please note that there is limited parking (up to 9 spaces). Please use public transport.
On arrival by the entrance gate of Harrow Rugby Club, marshals will direct participants to reserved parking and meeting point
What to expect:
A short, gentle guided walk through ancient woodland and historic ponds, with wildlife spotting and easy nature crafts for children.
We will then go pond dipping to discover aquatic wildlife and learn about the importance of freshwater habitats and how to protect them
Who is it for
This is a relaxed, outdoor session designed for families with children aged 5–14
No prior experience needed
Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
What to bring
Suitable outdoor clothing – bring sunscreen / hats, or waterproofs, according to the weather
Drinking water – don’t forget to bring a full water bottle!
We will provide all pond dipping equipment.
There are toilet facilities at the Harrow Rugby Football Club.
