World Poetry Day – Writing by the River

This creative writing workshop invites you to slow down, listen to the river, and explore your connection to local blue and green spaces through simple, guided writing activities. Inspired by the sounds of flowing water, early signs of spring and the wildlife that depends on healthy rivers, we’ll reflect on why our waterways matter: for nature, for wellbeing and for our communities.
No previous writing experience is needed. The session is suitable for anyone curious about trying something creative in a supportive outdoor setting.
We will meet outside Burnt Oak Library and walk to Watling Park
