London Rivers Week 2026: London’s Last Wilderness – Film Screening & Q&A

May 25 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

As part of London Rivers Week 2026, London’s Last Wilderness, a visually stunning documentary by Pablo Behrens, will be screened for free at 11:00am on Monday 25 May 2026 at the Lumière II Cinema in South Kensington, followed by a Q&A session with Pablo.

The film, shot over four years across all seasons and perspectives, reimagines the Thames Estuary and its tributaries as a vast, living “alien” ecosystem seen through the eyes of a visitor from another world, revealing the extraordinary biodiversity and fragile beauty of London’s hidden waterways and making a powerful case for protecting the natural environments flowing through the capital’s doorstep. Don’t miss your opportunity to watch this exciting film. Tickets are FREE. More information to follow shortly here: https://www.institut-francais.org.uk/whats-on/#/
