London Rivers Week 2026: The River Brent in Ealing

Join West London Ramblers, the Brent River and Canal Society, and volunteers from CURB (Clean Up the River Brent) for a free guided walk as part of London Rivers Week.
They will explain the pollution challenges facing the river and their work to improve the quality of its water and enhance biodiversity.
The walk starts near Brunel’s Wharncliffe Viaduct and then follows the Brent as it meanders through attractive parks and meadows to end at Pitshanger Park. There will be a refreshment break in the new Pear Tree Park in Perivale, so bring a picnic, or there is a very nice café for drinks, snacks and ice creams.
There’s no need to register.
