Action for Silk Stream – Tree labelling activity

Join us in the orchard at Watling Park this summer holiday. We will labelling the newly planted trees in the orchard, decorating wooden and metal tags.

What to expect:
There are 25 fruit trees – we need to identify them and then create labels so that everyone knows what they are!
We might even get to do some pond dipping too if we have time!
Who is it for
This is a relaxed, outdoor session designed for families with children aged 5–14
No prior experience needed
Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
What to bring
Suitable outdoor clothing – bring sunscreen / hats, or waterproofs, according to the weather
Drinking water – don’t forget to bring a full water bottle!
We will provide all equipment.
There are public toilets at Burnt Oak library.
