London Rivers Week 2026: Can London be a Wetland City?

Join ZSL for a (in-person) free talk on freshwater habitats and species as part of London Rivers Week.

Beavers, water voles and wetlands… come and hear how NGO’s are working to make London a wetland city.

If you’re a wildlife professional, a nature enthusiast, or just river-curious, come and join our event at ZSL London Zoo. You will hear how ZSL, Citizen Zoo, and others are working towards restoring key freshwater species and habitats within the capital, such as beavers and water voles, and you’ll have the chance to have your questions answered in a live Q&A at the end.

Doors will be open from 17:40, with the talks commencing at 18:00.

Please bring a bottle of water.
