London Rivers Week 2026: London’s Last Wilderness – Film Screening & Q&A

As part of London Rivers Week 2026, London’s Last Wilderness, a visually stunning documentary by Pablo Behrens, will be screened for free at 11:00am on Monday 25 May 2026 at the Lumière II Cinema in South Kensington.
The film, shot over four years across all seasons and perspectives, reimagines the Thames Estuary and its tributaries as a vast, living “alien” ecosystem seen through the eyes of a visitor from another world, revealing the extraordinary biodiversity and fragile beauty of London’s hidden waterways and making a powerful case for protecting the natural environments flowing through the capital’s doorstep. Don’t miss your opportunity to watch this exciting film. More information to follow shortly here: https://www.institut-francais.org.uk/whats-on/#/
