London Rivers Week 2026: River Roding guided walk (Redbridge to Ray Park)
Join the River Roding Trust on a 3.5-mile free guided walk up London’s 3rd longest river, from Redbridge to Ray Park, as part of London Rivers Week.
Meeting outside Redbridge station, we will wander up to Ray Park, observing how its shape has altered over time and appreciating its rich biodiversity. We will showcase some of the conservation and restoration work the Friends of the River Roding have carried out in recent months, and imagine together what more can be achieved over the coming.
Trousers or leggings – and ideally sleeves – are recommended due to nettles encroaching on some sections of the route; a bottle of water is also recommended.
Please wear comfortable shoes.
Under-18s must be accompanied by a parent/guardian/carer.
