Join Poets in Putney for a free poetry session celebrating London Rivers Week 2026!

The event will be held at The Hall, Putney Public Library and will be dedicated to rivers.

Whether you’re a seasoned poet or just starting out, this event is the perfect opportunity to share your work with a supportive audience. Come showcase your talent, listen to others, or simply soak in the poetic atmosphere. Don’t miss out on this chance to connect with fellow poetry enthusiasts in the heart of Putney!

📝 What Happens at a Poets in Putney – Poetry Open Mic Night?

Every open mic is a little different, but Poets in Putney is all about being relaxed, informal, and inclusive.

Whether you’re an amateur, a professional, or just poetry-curious, you’re welcome here. You can book a ticket as a performer or an audience member – either way, we’d love to have you.

I’ll host the evening and call up all registered performers one by one for their slot. If there’s time at the end, we’ll invite anyone from the audience who wants to give it a go.

Poets in Putney sells out every month, so ticket registration is essential.

Performers & Audience tickets must be booked to secure your spot!
