London Rivers Week 2026: Wetland Walk at Wild Tolworth
Join the Citizen Zoo team for a free guided walk as part of London Rivers Week 2026 to celebrate the completion of the wetland restoration, a landmark milestone for the Wild Tolworth project. We will explore the newly established marshlands and ponds to see the 4,000+ aquatic plants now emerging along the banks, creating a habitat for local species.
Tolworth Court Farm is more than just a Local Nature Reserve; it is a landscape with a story stretching back to the Domesday Book. Our mission is to ensure this site becomes as rich in wildlife as it is steeped in culture.
To honour London Rivers Week, we will also provide an update on our ‘Get Involved’ Water Vole project and discuss how these restored wetlands play a vital role in the health of our capital’s river networks.
